ACCEPT THE CHALLENGE – CAN YOU GET 100 No’s?
When someone tells you NO, cross out one of the NO’s below. Set yourself a goal of getting all 100 No’s crossed out within the next few hours – and NO, I am not kidding around! If you want to see your business explode with growth, take this exercise seriously. Here is a hint that will make this easier. Triple up! Ask someone to:
1. Become a consultant. If she says NO, cross out NO and ask her to…
2. Become a hostess. If she says NO, cross out a second NO and ask her to…
3. Give a customer referral. If she says NO again, you already have three No’s!
You will never be better at getting No’s than you are right now. The more you do this, the tougher it becomes to get those 100 No’s. You will find a YES creeps in there every once in a while.
Don’t let the occasional YES distract you from your primary goal of getting those 100 No’s. Imagine the look on your neighbor’s face when she tells you NO and you respond, “Gee, thanks, I’ve only got a few more No’s to go and I’m finished for the day, I was afraid you were going to say YES there for a minute.” Just imagine….
Don’t take this lightly; it will work, if you are willing to work it. Get those No’s now while it’s still easy for you to do so. Don’t wait until it becomes difficult for people to tell you No! That time will come, soon enough!?

PATRICIA LEARNED....
On the cruise I learned from Lynae that Pineapple Coast is exactly the same as
Pineapple Cilantro pillar scent. Of course, a bunch of us insisted it wasn't but
Lynae insisted it is.
Additionally, the two scents I was told would NOTbe in the jars would be:
Blackberry Vanilla
Amber Woods & Savanah Rain
Apparently there have been lots of problems & expense with making the pillars
and GC is trying to figure out the very best avenue to go for both the
demonstrators & the customers.

Gold Canyon's Manufacturing Standards
Our fragrances are made of both natural and synthetic oils. Gold Canyon uses only the highest quality blend of both of these types of oils to create the finest fragrances. Gold Canyon’s fragrance quality can also be attributed to the number of notes found in the fragrance. Notes are a group of specific aromas that create a fragrance. High quality fragrances always incorporate three important and distinct note characteristics. Because Gold Canyon maintains the highest standards, it only uses superior fragrances in its products. You can learn more about these note characteristics in my November 23, 2008 post entitled “Anatomy of a Fragrance.”
Gold Canyon’s glass containers are manufactured to meet the standards set by both the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM International) and the National Candle Association. Each piece of glass is hand inspected for quality control.
Our Heritage line of candles contain a hidden image of a child kneeling in prayer on their labels. I bet you didn’t know that! See if you can find the image on your candle! This child is the symbol for Gold Canyon’s Prayer Child Foundation. Through this foundation, our company, demonstrators and customers work together to positively affect the lives of children.
Gold Canyon uses different high quality waxes based on the needs of our different candle lines. We use both a food-grade paraffin wax as well as natural vegetable wax. Food-grade paraffin wax is used in the majority of our candle products. The Paraffin comes from companies that manufacture food-grade paraffin as a primary product and from refineries as a by-product. Vegetable wax is a renewable resource made with all natural ingredients that provides a clean, even burn. Our pillars are made from the vegetable wax.
